How Augmented Reality Can Make a Designer’s Life Easier

We are all there. We all work on digital design for hours, days, and sometimes weeks and wonder how it will look printed in real life. Of course, we can print design and healthy, see it, but what if there are problems, errors, something that is not easily visible?

We must return to the drawing board, make changes, adjust the things "broken" and after that send the design to print. It's too much time, our usual time, designers, don't really happen when you have a tight deadline.

Fortunately at this time with a massive increase in augmented reality tech, you can save a lot of time and resources. For example, using certain augmented reality design applications for iOS, you can do that. You can take a digital design and place it in the real world, hang it on the wall and check how it looks in real life.

Or better you can "attach" to one of your existing posts and interact with it. It's hard to explain with words because it is something you have to experience yourself. It feels like actual magic.

Apple has become the main supporter of AR and with the upcoming Arkit 3, will push further boundaries. During the WWDC19, the creator of Mojang Minecraft took the stage and dismantled Minecraft Earth. With enhanced tracking, the arrest of real-time movements and the occlusion of the demonstration was blowing.

Now imagine all the cool technical it is used to not only put your design in your workspace but to add them in real-time it allows you or your clients to interact with them in a way that is not possible before. This is not a distant future, this happens at this time and it will have the same impact on the life of your designer as much photoshop, illustrator or sketch.
